What are Portugal’s current entry requirements if you haven’t had the COVID vaccine?

If you haven’t been vaccinated against COVID, you are still able to travel to Portugal this summer. But you will still need to make sure you’ve done a few things in advance of your holiday.

If you’re not fully vaccinated and will be travelling to Portugal from the UK, you will need to provide the following:

‍

• Proof of a negative PCR test (taken no more than 72 hours before boarding your flight)
• OR a rapid lateral flow test (taken no more than 24 hours before boarding your flight)
• OR valid evidence of recent recovery from COVID. For this, you will need to have a valid COVID recovery certificate showing you recovered from COVID no less than 11 days, and no more than 180 days before you travel. Your UK Covid Pass can be used to demonstrate this.

Your PCR or rapid lateral flow test must be carried out by a trained healthcare professional, so make sure you’ve booked your test well in advance. 

Cyprus

What are Cyprus’ current entry requirements if you haven’t had the COVID vaccine?

• A COVID test (RT-PCR) taken 72 hours prior to departure
• OR a Rapid antigen test taken 24 hours prior to departure

Your test will need to be administered by a trained healthcare professional and you will be required to present your test result in printed or electronic form.

• OR evidence of a negative rapid lateral flow test taken within 48 hours before entering Italy
• OR a COVID recovery certificate, showing that you have recovered from COVID in the last 6 months. Your UK Covid Pass can be used to demonstrate this.
