Corona Test Centre respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy will inform you as to how we look after your personal data when you visit our website, register or authenticate a Covid-19 test, or otherwise provide your personal data to us.

We are a "data controller" in respect of the information we hold about you. This means that we are responsible for deciding how we use your personal information.

If you fail to provide your personal information

Where we need to collect personal data by law, or under the terms of a contract we have with you and you fail to provide that data when requested, we may not be able to perform the contract we have or are trying to enter into with you (for example, to provide you with goods or services). In this case, we may have to cancel a product or service you have with us but we will notify you if this is the case at the time. Unless specified otherwise, all data requested by Corona Test Centre is mandatory and failure to provide this data may make it impossible for Corona Test Centre to provide its services.

We takes appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorised access, disclosure, modification, or unauthorised destruction of your data.
Our data processing is carried out using computers and/or IT enabled tools, following organisational procedures and modes strictly related to the purposes indicated. In some cases, your data may be accessible to certain types of persons in charge, involved with the operation of Corona Test Centre (administration, sales, marketing, legal, system administration) or external parties (such as third-party technical service providers, mail carriers, hosting providers, IT companies, communications agencies) appointed, if necessary, as Data Processors by us. Retention time

We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying legal, accounting or reporting requirements.  

To determine the appropriate retention period for personal data, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure of your personal data, the purposes for which we process your personal data and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal requirements. Therefore:

  • Personal Data collected for purposes related to the performance of a contract with you shall be retained until such contract has been fully performed.
  • Personal Data collected for the purposes of our legitimate interests shall be retained as long as needed to fulfil such purposes. You may find specific information regarding the legitimate interests pursued by us within the relevant sections of this document or by contacting us.

We may be allowed to retain Personal Data for a longer period when you have given consent to such processing, as long as such consent is not withdrawn. Furthermore, we may be obliged to retain Personal Data for a longer period whenever required to do so for the performance of a legal obligation or upon order of an authority.

Once the retention period expires, Personal Data shall be deleted. Therefore, the right of access, the right to erasure, the right to rectification and the right to data portability cannot be enforced after expiration of the retention period.

We strive to provide you with choices regarding certain personal data uses, particularly around marketing and advertising. We have established a subscription centre located within the emails your receive where you can view and make certain decisions about your personal data use.

You will receive marketing communications from us if you have subscribed to receive news from us, and you have not opted out of receiving that marketing.

  • Third parties to whom we may choose to sell, transfer, or merge parts of our business or our assets. Alternatively, we may seek to acquire other businesses or merge with them.   • The Police or other law enforcement agencies in relation to security related or law enforcement investigations or in the course of cooperating with authorities, protecting and defending our rights or property or complying with legal requirements.

International Data Transfers

Some of our external third parties are based outside the UK, so their processing of your personal data will involve a transfer of data outside the UK. Whenever we transfer your personal data outside of the UK, we ensure a similar degree of protection is afforded to it by ensuring at least one of the following safeguards is implemented:

This service allows Corona Test Centre to connect with your account on Stripe, provided by Stripe, Inc.

This type of service might still collect web traffic data for the pages where the service is installed, even when you do not use it.

Google Fonts is a typeface visualization service provided by Google Ireland Limited that allows Corona Test Centre to incorporate content of this kind on its pages.

Handling payments

Unless otherwise specified, Corona Test Centre processes any payments by credit card, bank transfer or other means via external payment service providers. Corona Test Centre isn't involved in the collection and processing of such information: instead, it will only receive a notification by the relevant payment service provider as to whether payment has been successfully completed.

This type of service has the purpose of hosting data and files that enable Corona Test Centre to run and be distributed as well as to provide a ready-made infrastructure to run specific features or parts of Corona Test Centre.

Depending on the type of advertisement, you may be requested to provide further information.

Form submission results in the collection and processing of these Data by the Owner under this privacy policy, and only for the specific purpose outlined on the form and/or inside this privacy policy, where provided.

You may exercise their rights, at any time, including the right to withdraw their consent to the processing of their Data, as specified in the section containing information about user rights in this privacy policy.
