A Covid-19 travel test suitable for destinations where a PCR test is required for entry, results delivered as fast as 3 hours after appointment for urgent travel.
A PCR test is a nucleic acid test that looks for the genetic code (RNA) of the virus. It will not confirm whether you have had it and have developed an immune response - there are other tests available for that (see our antibody test). It is the gold standard of testing and is 99.9% accurate.
A throat and nose swab sample is taken by one of our healthcare professionals at one of our nationwide clinics.
Within 3 hours of taking your PCR test. All test samples are analysed 7 days a week and you’ll get your results as soon as they’re released.
Yes, children of any age can take a PCR test but we require children under the age of 18 to have parental consent. Please check your point of destination as different countries have different requirements for children.
Yes, it’s accepted by all international destinations. Our real-time PCR (RT-PCR) method is fully certified and accredited by Public Health England. This test is trusted by airlines and embassies.
Your test results will be sent to you securely by text and email including a PDF you can download. Your certificate will show your full name, date of birth, passport number (optional), date and time of test, and issue date. It will also be signed by our Medical Director, Dr. Jeremy Harris GMC: 3076541.
You must bring your booking confirmation email with you when you come for your test - you can show this on your phone. Please also bring your valid Passport or ID and make sure your name that you give us matches this document, as this will be on your certificate. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
We’re a leading UK government recognised provider of all private Covid-19 tests. Our tests are analysed at UKAS accredited labs that comply with ISO15189 and ISO17025 standards.
Time windows are normally given by your airline or the country you are flying to. For example, a PCR test is usually required within a 48 hour time window meaning that your swab needs to be taken within 48 hours of your flight. We recommend you check your specific destination requirements here.
Negative: You do not have any evidence of an active Covid-19 infection.
Positive: The virus that causes Covid-19 has been detected on your swab. As of 18 March, the UK no longer requires quarantine after a positive Covid-19 result. Note, most destination countries will still require a negative test result to fly.
Unclear: On rare occasions, it might not be possible to say if you had the virus when your test was done. In the event of this happening please contact us, quote your order number and we will arrange a retest.
A PCR Fit to Fly test includes your Fit to Fly status. This is the best test to take if you are travelling. We do not issue test result certificates with fit to fly status if you test positive for Covid-19.
